My Wife holds me accountable to the important things. Who does that for you?

Some people have the innate ability to be completely self motivated and stay on point with with everything they have going on in life. It’s like they are super human.

I am not one of those people. I’m regular human. I get started with a new project in my business, work, home or what ever and then kinda start neglecting other very important things in life.

Do you know what I mean? Is that you too? I thought so.

Here’s the thing about this so called “balanced life”. It does not exist, as far as I’m concerned.

At best, it’s a counter balanced life. That’s the way we have to be if we want to progress in any part of our life. If you want balance in your life than you are going to be status quo. And if that’s what you want, I’m not judging at all.

But if you want to get better results in any part of your life, you’re going to have to focus time, effort and other resources into that One Thing. In the mean time, other parts of your life are going to getting a bit neglected.

But you don’t want to neglect certain areas of your life for very long. For instance, you do not want to neglect your health, relationships and family for very long. If you do, they may not be there when you make the time to put more focus on those areas.

This is why we need accountability in our life. This is why we all need that person who is there to put us back on track from time to time.

I have a few people in my life for this. But my wife is my accountability partner for the most important things in my life. And I’m so grateful for her and all she does for our family.

Who do you have and what does he/she do for you?

Aloha
